Council meeting today: There will be a council meeting following the service at Rockwell City to discuss plumbing issues at the parsonage that will require expensive repairs and the paperwork the church was served for the Dorothy Kraft estate. Council members from both churches are requested to attend if available.

Council Meeting with the district superintendent: Monday August 1^st at 7:00 pm. All council members from both churches are requested to attend the council meeting with the district superintendent. The purpose of the meeting will be to address goals and helping create plans to address those goals.

In lieu of our regular services on Sunday August 7^th both Rockwell City & Jolley will be joining with other area churches for a Community Worship Service on the square in Rockwell City. Coffee & Donuts at 9:30, Bring Your Own Lawn Chairs for the Worship Service at 10:30, and Walking Tacos at 11:30.

While a winklepicker sounds like it should refer to someone who picks winkles (whatever those might be), a winklepicker is, in fact, a shoe or boot that features a sharp-pointed toe. Example: "I've been looking for the perfect winklepicker to go with these pants."
